Editor's review
This is software that lets you maintain a personal diary.
With Eitbit Diary you can keep a personal record of your daily events. The interface is a very simple one and does not take one to get started very quickly. The software is essentially a text editor with a WYSIWYG display area. When you start a new diary you get the calendar display on one side and the text editor right next to it. It has the usual controls for selecting a font and the font size. Fonts attributes like bold, italic and underlined as well as text alignment controls are available. Text color control and image insertion controls complete the facilities you have on the editor. The initial set allows you to set up password controls to the access of the diary. You can set some defaults at the time of setting up or later when you need to.
Search functionality is available that lets you find specific references in your text easily. Print functionality has the usual controls like the page set up etc. But there is a bit of a problem too here. When asking for print it chooses the default printer. Normally that does not create a problem. However, I had the PDF creator virtual printer as the default and the program chose that for printing. There are several levels of undo/redo to take care of any mistakes you make. The program is compatible with the Windows 7. If you write diary regularly to record events of your life this is a tool you could try easily. It is free, ad supported and thus available for life free.
